This should be used for all future events unless you feel the need to make your own topic

Since Yuuhi can't do this themselves, here is the new event.

EvG Horse Races. This will probably have to be done in a tourney bracket if enough people show up, but I was thinking teams of 3.

A horse racing tournament where you must protect the "racer" the rest of you will be fighting to kill the other racer/ fighters. All of this takes place on horse back and the fighters MUST have a lance. The object is to get your racer to the finish line first while attempting to stop the other team.

Ground rules:
-No camping the other team.
-Lances must be used at all times.
-the racer themselves cannot attack the other team.
-If you're an elf you will be accomodated appropriately.
-ONLY horses can be used. If you do not have the free horse pet, we'll find a player who does and have them log-in to the pet and let you use them as the mount

Prize: TBD by Yuuhi or just Bragging rights. Who knows.

You know I may be lazy, but I have feelings, a heart, and can do things moderately well.... Besides its easy to think of fun things to do. Like storming the beach as sharks in shark robes and having a blast on the beach because of it.

Ima go with general knowledge just to be fair to those who don't watch anime, play video games, etc

so since this seems to be titles a general events category im going to go off on a limb and suggest an event. The giant alligator or red dragon raid. they are relatively simply and have less hp than the other raid bosses.

The only problem with raids like that is that A.) They're at fixed times
and
B.) Their spawning windows usually range 2 hours and waiting that long would mean that half the guild members may disappear by the time it spawns.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just saying that time can be a problem for some.

I actually like the idea.

Perhaps a jousting tournament of our own? It's pretty self explainatory

So i found Scaz's idea interesting however, horse's simply will not work.
So ive thought of a couple ways to tweak it, ways that im told apprently arent original (i dont really care, you cant put claims on these ideas)
Anyways the idea is very simple. Its an EvG (elf vr giant) vip hunting mission.
basic idea
-two teams start at separate entrances to dunbarton (dugald and gairech)(location really doesnt matter but dunb is easy)
-each team will have one vip (preferable the one with the most hp/def)
-this vip CANNOT fight (they can however throw rocks, stack armor, magishield, etc.)
-vip CANNOT be an elf or use any movement speed boosters
-A round ends when the vip dies
-a game consists of three rounds (best two out of three)

Ground rules
- NO TRANS
-FISTS only fists
-pots are acceptable, however they will not be provided
-no guns, ranged, magic, or alch
-a player that is pushed in to a corner (camped) will lose the round i.e. captured (to be judged by ref)
-the winning team will recieve a prize from the all mighty leader.
-breaking the rules obviously means your disqualified (depending on how badly you have violated the rules, you may be removed from the game entirely)
-death for anyone but the vip does not mean they lose.
-also, pets are not allowed (obviously)

well since we dont have an official event planned and i just told scaz to come up with something well just do your idea for this weekend fate

We should have an annual guild day. Since our guild is at a really decent size and not everyone talks we should have a day where all members have a chance to get together, meet one another, and just have some fun.

EVENT IDEAS:

Musical Chairs
We all remember the old days as kids where most of us would play this, or maybe it was a elementary school event. It was probably one of the first 'competitive' games we've ever played as kids. I want to bring this particular game as an event, and make it mabi-style. Anyone who would rather play the music instead of join would play trick scrolls. Not scrolls that have horrible sounding music mind you, but music where you cant tell when it stops. If you're the last one to sit down, you're out. If you sit down when the music didn't stop - you're out. But I'm a bit fair when it comes to that last  rule, because it really can be hard sometimes. Although I'm a bard myself, I prefer to be a ref since I have a keen eye. Unfortunately, lag will not be an excuse here.

Pokémon Pet Battles
Another thing we used to do as kids, was play our game boy color. Some of us couldn't wait to go to bed because we'd have a small little light as we stayed up hours after bed time to keep our fighting sprite alive in wonderful battles against gym leaders and the dastardly team rocket. We all also knew how great it was when the Game Boy Advanced SP came out since it was backlit and could close it immediately if our parents came in. I want to bring a bit of this to mabinogi. There is two ways we could do this. We could do a bracket tournament right off the back (THERE WILL BE TIERS FOR ANIMALS. It wouldn't be fair for a Pegasus to fight a damn gecko for instance). Each person would be allowed 3 pets. I would be an announcer. You can only use one move per turn. Powerful skills require a charge time. For instance, any of the dragon breath abilities would take a turn to charge. SPECIAL ABILITIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. for instance holy rush, or the bone dragons defense reducing skill. You can only use 4 skills per pet. I would have a list of what skills can be used. I will discuss more on this one If enough people are interested.

Then there's the second way. we could have gym battles. and the first person to come back with all the badges wins. Likewise, if a Gym Leader beats their goal of people, they would come back to me and be declared the winner. depending on how many people participate will depend on how many gym leaders there are. But Gym Locations will be: Tir Chonail, Dunbarton, Port Cohb, Belvast, Tailteann, Tara, Bangor, Port Ceann, Filla, Vales, and Avon. Im not saying there's a battle in all these places, but it is the choice of the Gym Leaders on where they wish  to go.

THERE IS ONE MORE EVENT I HAVE PLANNED BUT IM SAVING IT FOR THE DAY THAT I BECOME OFFICER
I just... I want to keep the exclusivity up for that.
